New Delhi- External Affairs Minister S M Krishna on Wednesday wrote to his Pakistani counterpart S M Qureshi condoling the unfortunate loss of innocent lives in the tragic plane crash there. In a message to Qureshi, the External Affairs Minister conveyed "deep condolences on behalf of the people and the Government of India to the people and the Government of Pakistan, especially to the bereaved families," an official release said here.
Private airliner Air Blue-operated Airbus A-321, flying from Turkey to Islamabad via Karachi, crashed into the heavily forested Margalla Hills overlooking Islamabad in rain. Police and officials fear a large casualty figure. PTI
