New Delhi: Abishek Pant, a final-year computer science student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, has bagged the most wanted job desired by almost any youth with a whopping Rs 2 crore annual package, including stock option, at Google Inc.
The 22-year-old Pune-based boy earlier this year finished a three-month internship at Google, California. He went through another round of interview before being wrapped up into the design solutions cell.
Pant, who was born and brought up in the US, moved to Pune in 2006. He obtained 97.6% marks in Std X, becoming city topper and making everyone proud at the city-based Delhi Public School.

• At first, pant had to go through two rounds of technical interviews over the phone for the internship. There he had to do coding in a Google document.
• Then the project manger grilled him with tough questions in next round.
• He cleared the third interview easily following which his internship began in May.
• When his internship was about to end, Pant was offered a job.
• To grab this opportunity Pant had to go through another set of interviews.
• He will be joining the company in September next year. He will work with the design solutions team on the best way to solve problems raised by users.
Pant has not been assigned any project as of now.
Delhi boy, Chetan Kakkar, too had set a new record for international placement for the prestigious University (DTU) by grabbing an offer of $ Rs 1, 25, 74,200 ($1, 90,000) per annum from Google.
