How to drive safely in dense fog

New Delhi: Driving in heavy fog is like driving with a blindfold on. Statistically it's the most dangerous driving hazard in existence. No matter how important the trip is, it's not worth gambling your life.

9. Do not stop on a freeway or heavily traveled road. If your car stalls or becomes disabled, turn your vehicle's lights off, and take your foot off of the brake pedal. People tend to follow tail lights when driving in fog. Move away from the vehicle to avoid injury.

10.If your car is disabled or you can't continue, pull well onto the shoulder and turn off lights. Move away from your vehicle.

Weather can be very dangerous at times, especially when you operate a vehicle on the roads in poor weather conditions. Fog creates dangerous driving conditions and has been the cause of a high number of accidents and fatalities. Remember to practice safety. Don't learn it by accident.
