New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi and the UPA government at the Centre are in no mood to cooperate with each other as Arvind Kejriwal has clearly refused to remove Somnath Bharti from his cabinet.
The Union Home Ministry has gone back on its decision to clear the appointment of senior IPS officer Praveer Ranjan as head of the Delhi Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Ranjan's appointment was notified by the Lt Governor, but in the latest move the Home Ministry has decided to send him to Puducherry.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had specifically requested for Ranjan's appointment as ACB chief. The Home Ministry had initially okayed Ranjan's deputation.
Media reports said, the Home ministry has retracted its decision in response to the recent attacks by Arvind Kejriwal on the Home Minister and Delhi Police.
The Delhi CM has even accused the Home Minister's office of taking bribes for transferring police officials to locations of their choice.
