New Delhi: The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (All India Hindu Assembly), a right-wing Hindu organization will have strict observation on couples who will be celebrating Feb. 14 or Valentine's Day.

The wing has already declared that the couple who will be found celebrating Valentine's Day in public will be married off. As per the latest reports the saffron outfit's leaders will be monitoring social networking sites too. Those posting love-you messages on social networking sites will be caught hold of and forced to tie the knot.

As quoted by TOI, Chandra Prakash Kaushik, national president, Hindu Mahasabha said, ""Display of love in the entire Valentine's week is equivalent to not following Indian traditions. Anyone found displaying love on Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp will be caught hold of. A total of eight teams have already been formed in Delhi to keep a check on social media".

This time Hindu Mahasabha have come up with more inimitable ordeals of forced wedding for Hindu couples and a ‘shuddhikaran' (purification) ritual for inter-faith partners, if they found celebrating what they termed as a ‘foreign festival'.

Reportedly, the group has established several teams in west UP and national capital to identify “guilty” couples.

"We will be prompt about our social media campaign from Feb 8 onwards. Once Delhi elections are over, our teams will first appraise masses about what true love is and that a western festival should not be celebrated in the country. But if they do not adhere to our advice, we will inbox them and ask for their contact numbers and addresses, reach their house and get them married," Kaushik said.

As per Mahasabha president, “If they refuse to share their numbers, we will contact their parents- especially those who are active online- and ask them to get them married if they really love each other".

Not just Mahasabha but cops too are gearing up for this D-day. Alok Sharma, Inspector general told Times of India, "It might be Valentine's Day or any other day; no one has the right to do moral policing. But if the members of the outfit involve themselves in any such activity, they should be ready to face legal action."

Interestingly, the Hindu outfit Bajrang Dal which was more known for such stands every Valentine's Day has plans to stay mum this time as they are busy with their Hindu Sammelan to be held on day after Valentine's.
