Himachal Pradesh (Kinnaur): At least 25 people lost their lives and many others suffered severe injuries when a private bus fell into the Baspa River in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred when bus was heading towards Reckong Peo from Sangla. On the way bus driver lost control and fell into the Baspa River, which was flowing just 500 metres away.
Around 35 people were on board when this unfortunate incident took place. The locals informed police about the incident after which a team was rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation.
However, due to the deep valley where bus fell, the police team is facing problem in the rescue operation.
Considering the increasing number of injured people, police team has summoned a special team of doctors from Reckong Peo to render immediate treatment.
