Srinagar, Jan 17: Heavy snowfall has been reported across the Kashmir valley with the weather department issuing alert about a possible avalanche in the higher reaches.
In Srinagar and other towns, there was fresh snowfall this morning following by intermittent rains throughout the day. There was a brief spell of snowfall on Wednesday night.
Vehicular traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway has been suspended.
