Flood alert has been sounded in lowlying river banks areas of Delhi.

Monday morning's heavy rains led to huge traffic jams on Ring Road, Nizamuddin, Sarai Kale Khan, Mayur Vihar, Ashram and Pragati Maidan.

Traffic snarls were also reported from Gurgaon, Noida and Greater Noida.
