Jammu: An encounter broke out early morning on Tuesday between militants and security forces in Ratnipora area of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The area has been cordoned off by the army, one militant is injured and search operations are continuing.” CRPF personnel Vinay Kumar, said.
The operation was going on till last reports came in, adding there were no casualty so far in the gunbattle.
The state has witnessed an unsual rise in the number of terror attacks and ceasefire violations since 2013.
