Mumbai, Jul 3 : Speaking to his Mumbai supporters from Delhi via video calling after his meeting with Sonia Gandhi on Saturday, Anna Hazare urged a cheering crowd, gathered at the Jai Hind College, to stage rallies and flag marches.
“Take the flag and march to the slogans of ‘Vande Mataram', ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and ‘Inquilab Zindabad'.”
Corruption had reached such a level in the country that development had become impossible, he said.
“We want the corrupt to go to jail, their property seized. We want all officials from top to bottom within the ambit of the Lokpal.” Hazare criticised the government's move to bring all NGOs under the Lokpal.
“There are many NGOs, not all are honest. [But] many have done work which the government hasn't. The government has brought all of them under the Lokpal. That is not right.”
