The Haryana Government on Friday extended the ban on mobile internet services till August 13 (Monday) in Haryana's Nuh district, informed an official statement.
Earlier today, schools and educational institutions opened in Nuh after being shut down due to incidents of violence. The district administration had said that the curfew will be relaxed from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
According to Ravinder Jain, Principal of Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, some students from the primary section have returned to school, but higher-grade students are still not attending.
"Some students of the primary section have come however the higher grade students are not coming. Students who are participating in the August 15 program have also come. This is a good move by the administration," he said.
Earlier, the suspension on mobile internet services had been in place till midnight of August 11 in view of the violence that took place in Nuh on July 31 over an attempt to stop a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession and spread to Gurugram and other districts of the state.
