Dehradun: Harish Rawat has released Rs 13 crore from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for payment to farmers in all districts as compensation or grants on account of losses to their crops by unseasonal rains.
Giving this information here today, Rawat's media advisor Surendra Kumar said a total of Rs 13 crore has been released to all District Magistrates for paying the farmers whose crops have been damaged by the heavy rains.
An amount of Rs 120.69 lakh has been sanctioned for Chamoli, Rs 137. 93 lakh for Uttarakashi, Rs 51.72 lakh for Rudraparyag, Rs 51.72 lakh for Bageshwar, Rs 137.93 lakh for Pithoragarh, Rs 90.14 lakh for Haridwar, Rs 78.87 lakh for Udham Singh Nagar, Rs 90.14 lakh for Champawat, Rs 90.14 lakh for Tihri Garhwal, Rs 112.67 lakh for Pauri Garhwal, Rs 112.67 lakh for Almora, Rs 112.67 lakh for Nainital and Rs 112.67 lakh for Dehradun, he said
