Gujarat Opinion Poll 2022: Comfortable victory for BJP, Congress distant second, AAP no match

According to India TV - Matrize Opinion poll for Gujarat, the BJP may win a huge majority of 119 seats in the 182-member state assembly, while Congress may win 59 seats and Aam Aadmi Party may win only three seats.

The BJP is likely to get 55% votes in Central Gujarat. As far as seats are concerned, BJP is likely to get 43 seats, Congress 17. The AAP will struggle to win even a single seat, shows India TV -Matrize Opinion Poll

According to India TV - Matrize Opinion poll for Gujarat, the ruling BJP will sweep South Gujarat getting 27 seats, on the other hand the Conhress will get 7 seats. Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP can manage to get mere 1 seat in the region.

The BJP is likely to perform well in North Gujarat getting 49% vote share in North Gujarat. Talking about seats, the saffron party will get 17 seats,Congress 15. Interestingly, the AAP is likely to fail to open its account in this region.

Out of 54 seats in Saurashtra, the BJP is likely to win 32 seats, Congress 20, AAP 2 and others zero seats, shows India TV -Matterize Opinion Poll. 

According to India TV-Matterize Opinion Poll, Congress will perform relatively better in Saurashtra region of  Gujarat getting 40 per cent votes.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal will announce on Friday the name of the party's chief ministerial candidate for the next month's Gujarat Assembly elections, party office-bearers said. The Bharatiya Janata Party's election committee for Gujarat held a meeting in the presence of senior leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday to shortlist three candidates for each Assembly constituency in the state, where elections will be held next month.

Of the total 182 Assembly seats in the state, voting for 89 seats will be held on December 1 and the balance 93 seats on December 5.. Counting on December 8

Gujarat will go to the assembly polls in two phases on December 1 and 5 in an election spiced up by the AAP's entry as the BJP looks to continue its uninterrupted winning streak there since 1995 while the main opposition Congress works to amp up its campaign.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is also in the fray, urged people to give it a chance, and hoped that all parties fight the election in a fair manner.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said his party would once again retain power in the state. "Election Commission has announced dates of Gujarat polls. Few voters and the people of state will bless BJP's politics of development and visionary leadership.
I am of the firm belief that once again lotus will bloom in Gujarat," Patel tweeted.

In the 2017 Assembly polls, the BJP had pulled off its sixth consecutive victory by winning 99 seats, while the Congress had put up a spirited fight by bagging 77 seats.
