Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her visit to Delhi tomorrow evening.
It would be her first meeting after Modi resigned as Gujarat chief minister and took over as Prime Minister on May 26.
According to an official press release, Patel is also scheduled to meet Vice President Hamid Ansari tomorrow evening in Delhi.
Patel is expected to discuss several issues related to Gujarat with Modi, including installation of gates on the Narmada dam.
Before leaving for Delhi, Patel is scheduled to inaugurate an agriculture conclave for female farmers under the ongoing Krishi Mahotsav (agriculture fair) in Gandhinagar tomorrow morning.
During the conclave, organised at Mahatma Mandir in the state capital, Patel is set to felicitate progressive women involved in farming and cattle-rearing.
