New Delhi, March 3 : Former Central Vigilance Commissioner Pratyush Sinha today said that the government should now be "extra careful" while selecting a new individual to head the CVC.
"The government must respect the Supreme Court verdict. We have to be extra careful while selecting the CVC", Sinha said.
The former CVC said, the high office of Central Vigilance Commission has become controversial in the process. The panel should be carefully prepared and it should be unbiased so that it does not lead to any fresh controversy, he added.
"I definitely feel saddened because of the controversy in which the current CVC was embroiled in", Sinha said.
