New Delhi: Google has marked New Year's Eve with a doodle showing a party on with speakers blaring and the digits 2-0-1-3 grooving on the dance floor, while the digit 4, signifying the New Year is waiting in the wings.
Clicking on the Doodle takes the user through to a page of results listing New Year's Eve festivities, news articles and other results from around the world.
This doodle is in tune with Google's tradition of posting doodles on New Year's Eve, followed by another on New Year's Day.
The very first Goodle Doodle appeared in 1998 and featured a reference to the Burning Man festival that Google founders Larry and Sergey were attending.
They are now a regular feature on the search engine's homepage and illustrate a range of special events, occasions and anniversaries.
