Gurgaon, Mar 20: Tula Ram, a first year student of Gurgaon College of Engineering was admitted to the ICU of a local hospital, after senior students poisoned him and then beat him up, when he came to give his first semester exam on Tuesday.




Tula Ram lives in Delhi's Vijay Enclave and studies in the College in Bilaspur, Gurgaon.

The victim's family members alleged that Tula Ram had come to give his Maths exam, and during break time, he was found unconscious in the park outside the college campus with foam coming out of his mouth. His body severe injuries, the family members alleged.

The College management immediately rushed him to Sunrise Hospital, Gurgaon, where he has been kept on ventilator, and his condition is said to be critical.

Some of Tula Ram's friends complained that they had named the seniors with whom he was involved in the fight, but the management did not take action.

His friends said, the seniors used to frequently bully Tula Ram.  Family members said, the college management did not inform them about admitting their son in the hospital.

Gurgaon Police is investigating and is presently awaiting the victim to regain consciousness.
