Mumbai, Jul 15: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has suggested imparting of anti-terror training to citizens to tackle the scourge of terror.

In an interview to India TV, Bachchan said it would be futile to blame state agencies for terror attacks. "Ask not what the country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country", said Big B quoting John F Kennedy.

Bachchan, who has been constantly posting a series of tweets in connection to the Mumbai attacks, has gone ahead and asked people to join an anti terror training programme that makes them capable of protecting themselves.

Big B tweeted, "Each one of us will have to become a 'policeman'  ... Look, notice, observe, feel, sense the danger in every step and report (sic)."

"We have become a terrorist vulnerable nation .. when one is vulnerable, he learns to protect himself by himself (sic)," the actor added.

Even though Big B admitted that the security forces will always play a vital part in securing the lives of all the citizens of India, but still he wants people to turn into policemen.

He also tweeted, "when vulnerable, let each one of us know that we are being watched and monitored. There are many vulnerable nations in the world….knowing this they have made each citizen of theirs a watch dog, a fighting force (sic)."

Big B emphasised on the need for training citizens in anti terror acts.

He tweeted, "Let there be private or state professional units that take up the job and make it compulsory. Make that training programme mandatory for every citizen, every national of the country.. I shall be the first to join(sic)."

Amitabh Bachchan feels that till the time we Indians do not take a step forward, nothing will change. "We will always be the victims of such attacks. So, to change this situation, we will have work as a team."
