New Delhi: Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh will lead an Indian delegation to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from May 7-9 to hold talks with Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister Nizomiddin Zohidov on bilateral, regional and international issues.
Besides the meeting in the ministry of foreign affairs, Singh will also call on Tajik dignitaries.
The foreign secretary's visit to Tajikistan "will focus on assessing ongoing bilateral cooperation and reviewing the implementation of projects decided upon during the state visit of Tajik president to India in September 2012, when bilateral relations between both the countries were elevated to the level of a strategic partnership", said a ministry of external affairs statement.
