Gurgaon, July 8: A speeding Ford Figo car on Sunday night crushed a cyclist to death. Both young men inside the car fled from the spot.
The mishap took place near Ghata village in Gurgaon. The car was being driven at a tremendous speed . After hitting the cyclist it hit the roadside grill and fell from the flyover 30 feet down.
Local villagers staged a protest and stoned passing cars and vehicles. Gurgaon Sadar ACP Rajiv Yadav went to the spot and persuaded the villagers to withdraw the protest.
Both the young men are absconding.
