New Delhi: At least 15 trains delayed and three rescheduled due to light fog in the morning here Friday, an official said.
"There was shallow fog in the morning and the visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 2,000 metres," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
According to Northern Railway, 15 trains coming to the city were delayed while the timing of three trains was rescheduled.
The weatherman said the sky will be clear in the day.
The day's minimum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 9.3 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature would hover around 24 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 81 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 22.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 8.7 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.
