Gwalior: The Gwalior Administration has formed a team headed by Additional Superintendent of Police (City) to look into the alleged ragging case of Adarsh Kumar Singh, son of Bihar Cooperative Minister Jai Kumar Singh, who is battling for life at a hospital in Delhi.
The team comprises Gwalior SDM, Tehsildar, District Education Officer and principal of a Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Gwalior SSP Santosh Kumar Singh said, “A team headed by Additional Superintendent of Police (City) has been asked to probe the matter. The boy was shifted to Delhi after doctors advice.”
14-year-old Adarsh was on Thursday morning admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital at Sarita Vihar in southeast Delhi in a very critical condition.
Adarsh Kumar is a student of Class IX at Scindia School in Gwalior.
Doctors in the hospital said Kumar is in a very critical condition and is under constant observation.
“The patient was brought to the hospital on 21 August at 08:30 am. Immediate medical care and treatment was provided by our team of senior consultant doctors. The condition of the patient remains critical and he continues to be on ventilatory support in the ICU. The vital clinical parameters of the patient are maintained,” a medical bulletin said here on Saturday afternoon.
According to Jai Kumar Singh, his son had complained to his mother in the past about harassment from seniors.
