Dindigul : Five members of a family, including a child, were killed this morning when their car collided with a stationary bus at Singarakottai, about 25 kms from here.
The occupants of the car were proceeding to Kottayam in Kerala from Chennai to celebrate Onam festival, police said.
The Batlagundu-bound bus from Palani had been parked on the road side for a passenger to get down at Singarakottai when the mishap occurred.
All the passengers of the car died on the spot, police said.
