Moga, Punjab, Apr 14 : One more person, injured in a blast at a house here, died at a hospital, taking the toll in the incident to five, police said today.
Hoor Bano (45), who was critically injured in the explosion, died in Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital at Faridkot last night, police said.
She had been rushed to GGSMC from Moga Civil Hospital. Four persons were killed yesterday when a blast took place in the house in Preet Nagar locality.
Owner of the house Liakat Ali, his 18-year-old daughter Amiran, Veerpal and 12-year-old boy Iqbal Singh died in the blast.
SSP Snehdeep Sharma said the cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained, adding the district magistrate has sought the help of army experts in this regard.
Liakat used to arrange fireworks shows at marriage functions and manufactured crackers in his house.
His daughter Hina said she was cleaning the oven when there was a blast after which she was not aware what happened. A magisterial probe has been ordered into the incident.
