Noida: A major fire broke out at a Maruti showroom in Noida's Sector 10 on Saturday.
As many as 12 fire tendered were pressed into the service to douse the flames.
Firefighters struggled for nearly two hours to bring the flames under control.
One of the fire official said that four persons, who were trapped inside the building, were rescued using a ladder.
Other fire officials alleged that employees of the showroom misbehaved with them.
Police said that fire personnel reacted very quickly to contain the spread of the blaze.
Sushil Kumar Yadav, FSO, Noida, said, “The reason behind this incident is unknown...we are trying to ascertain as how this happened. We rescued four persons from here.”
Fire officials will later inspect the fire system of this building, he said.
The losses caused by the fire are yet to be assessed by the owner, he added.
