New Delhi: A major fire broke out at famous shopping mall here Tuesday evening and was still raging, a fire service official said. No one has been reported injured.
The fire was reported from Ansal Plaza mall, located at Andrews Ganj on Khel Gaon Marg in south Delhi, around 7 p.m.
"The fifth floor of the Ansal Plaza shopping mall engulfed in flames. The situation is under control, but the operation is still on," said the fire official, adding that 15 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
"We rescued five people from the mall... But, no one was luckily injured in the incident," said the official, adding the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
