Jind: An emergency meeting has been convened at Jat Dharamshala, following the Supreme Court's decision to dismiss the Centre's plea seeking a review of its verdict that set aside a notification to include Jats in the central list of OBC category in 9 states to accord quota benefits to them.
Kandela Khap chief and Jat Reservation Committee office bearer Tek Ram Kandela said a meeting has been called at Jat Dharamshala to hold discussions on the decisions of Supreme Court and the Punjab and Haryana High Court and to review the future course of action.
Jat leader Hawa Singh Sangwan said a committee will be formed which will decide the future course of action and will fight for the rights of Jats.
