Earthquake of magnitude 5.1 jolts Andaman and Nicobar island
An earthquake of 5.1 magnitude hit Campbell Bay in Andaman and Nicobar island on Monday. The quake was recorded at 3.08 pm with its epicentre 510km SSE of Campbell Bay, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).
The depth of the quake was 10 km.
There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property due to the earthquake.
