New Delhi: A sudden change in weather brought respite to the residents of the national capital as gusts of wind carrying thick dust blew across the region this afternoon.
There were reports of rainfall in some parts of the city. The scorching sun was blotted out by the clouds and the weather cooled at around 2 P.M.
"Soon after that, the city experienced a moderate- intensity storm," MeT officials said.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius at 3 P.M.
The weather department had yesterday predicted overcast conditions today in the national capital.
