New Delhi: To mark the occasion of Bhai-Dooj, the Aam Aadmi party government is providing free ride to women in DTC buses today.
Delhi Transport minister Gopla Rai made the announcement on Friday
“Government will provide free rides for women passengers in all DTC and cluster non-AC buses on the occasion of Bhai Dooj tomorrow (Friday) between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” a government official said.
“However, this service will not be available on air-conditioned and inter-state buses, which are destined to the towns beyond NCR,” the official said.
The DTC will also run special buses for the India International Trade Fair, which will be held at Pragati Maidan from November 14 to November 27.
