"Picture this.. we were driving down a 6 lane highway. The govt's hospital has wings on both sides of the highway....a patient was being transported from one wing to the other on a stretcher with wheels across the 6 lanes of highway by two hospital workrs with only a sheet and a towel over his face. What a zoo!"

Alicia Muller May  after returning to Austin Texas on May 16, 2012  posted this:

"Went for a walk by myself this morning in the burbs of Austin, Texas...no horns honking, no one staring at me, level sidewalks, no trash, no poop (human or animal), no monkeys .....I did see bright blue sky, a heron fishing quietly in a pond and only 2 other people walking for exercise. I saved the best for last....clean air - it's amazing how much energy one has when the air is clean."

The US State Department on Monday distanced itself from these offensive social media postings  and said: "Those comments absolutely do not reflect US government policy, nor were they made on any official US government social media account."

State department spokeswoman Marie Harf said :" would underscore that these do not in any way represent the US government position."
