Ramlal Anand College is one of the biggest South Campus colleges of Delhi University. The college, apart from setting up an educational level, has also proved its presence in various cultural activities at University level.
History
Ramlal Anand College was started in 1964 by Ramlal Anand who was a senior advocate in Supreme Court. The motive behind starting this college was to promote higher studies in the society. Initially the college was operated by Ramlal Anand College Trust; however, it came under the supervision of Delhi University in 1973. Now the college is adhering to the Delhi University rules.
Courses
Courses like B.A (Hons.) in English, Hindi, History, Journalism and Mass communication (Hindi), Political Science, B.A Programme, B.Com, B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc Hons. Computer Science, Geology, Microbiology and Statistics are available in the college. The college also provides post graduation in Hindi – M.A Hindi.
Activities
The students in the college, apart from studies, actively participate in sports and various cultural activities. Various debates, dialogue sessions and seminars are also conducted in the college for students.
Facilities
The college features a ground where sports and cultural events are held. It also has the facility of Wi-fi.
Ramlal Anand also provides the facility of medical counselling to its students and even call expert doctors to help students in stress.
Apart from these facilities, the college is also developing a computer centre for students' benefits.
Library
The college comprises of a library featuring more than 50,000 books. It also has a reading room with the capacity of accommodating 100 students at a time.

Ramlal Anand College is situated in the south campus at Benito Juarez Marg near Dhaula Kuan Metro station. You can also commute by DTC bus for the college.
