Surjit Kaur, a resident of Delhi's Rohini was killed on Saturday morning when the Santro car that her husband was driving rammed into iron rods jutting out of a stationary truck in Pitampura near Income Tax Colony.
The couple was going to the local gurudwara for prayers when the mishap took place.
The impact was so severe that gas cutter had to be used to cut out the rods whish smashed into the car.
Surjit's husband has been admitted in a critical condition in Saroj Hospital.
Maurya Enclave police is investigating the case.
