New Delhi: A Delhi woman has alleged that a TaxiForSure driver traumatised her with obscene acts during a ride and masturbated while she was in the cab.
The woman took to Facebook and Twitter to describe her ordeal.
The woman while describing the incident said, “He had a smile on his face that will haunt me for nights to cone. A #PSYCHOTIC man with a severe chemical imbalance for a driver is nothing but dangerous.”
TaxiForSure is an aggregator of cab and taxi services in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Surat.
Media reported that the woman is yet to file a police complaint but lodged a complaint with TaxiForSure on Monday. The cab aggregator had promised legal action against the driver, says report.
Here is what she wrote on her Facebook account:
“DO NOT ENAGE WITH A DRIVER NAMED DEVINDER KUMAR. PHON E NO : **********, WHITE SWIFT DEZIRE DL01 YE3341 WHEN BOOKING A CAB VIA UBER, OLA ANO TAXI FOR SURE.
Like everyday I bookod a cab via Olacabs last night except it was a TaxiFor Sure from Saket, South ODelhi to Faridabad, Haryana. Everything from the car to the driver seemed alright. I am usually on calls when in transit, so I had to ask the driver to mellow the music, thrice. As I was roughly 25 minutes away from my destination, the driver got impatient and started driving brashly. Moreover he seemed extremely restless, anxious and kept mumbling something to himself. I discontinued my call and asked him to d rive properly in the most polite manner possible.
I was about to make another call when I noticed that he was masturbating while driving. He had little control over the wheel as well as his perverseness. He had a smile on his face that will haunt me for nights to cone. A #PSYCHOTIC man with a severe chemical imbalance for a driver is nothing but dangerous.
Since it was late, the only thing I could do was open my window as I counted the seconds to reach home. Once I reached home, I confronted hire and obviously he denied everything.
Called Ola they directed me to TaxiForSure. Called TFS whose barely trained call centre technicians gave me the standard reply "Madam we will take action against the driver in 24 hours”
Attached is a pic with details of the driver who is registered with Ola, Uber or Taxi For Sure. Kindly DO NOT ENGAGE WITH HIM while booking a cab via any of these apps.
Also dear @TaxiFor Sure & @Olacabs when you claim to provide a cab in under 15mins, did you forget to mention the mental harassment and potential threat to safety of passengers that comes with it? Because I got all of it under 15 fucking minutes.
