New Delhi: Delhiites received some relief from scorching heat on Wednesday afternoon as the sky turned cloudy with a mild wind.
The winds have given birth to cooler conditions in the national capital.
According to Met department's weather forecast, today's maximum temperature will be around 38.7 degree Celsius (Safdarjung station), one degree below normal. Minimum temperature is expected to be at 27.5 degree Celsius today.
Delhi has been witnessing extremely hot conditions for the last couple of weeks with maximum temperature exceeding 40 on mercury.
Met Department's website predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or Thunderstorm in the afternoon.
