New Delhi: The Delhi Police Wednesday launched a fleet of 24 remodelled and upgraded motorcycles to discipline errant motorists.
Each mobike, with two traffic police officers, will be deployed on arterial roads and highways to discipline the errant motorists, heavy traffic vehicles and buses during evening and night hours.
"These mobikes will also act as Quick Reaction Teams and will work in two shifts," said Delhi Police Commissioner Bhim Sain Bassi while flagging off the mobikes.
