New Delhi, April 15 : Delhi police on Saturday evening stopped a Toyota Qualis vehicle and seized 616 IMFL (Indian manufactured foreign liquor) bottles meant for distribution prior to city civic polls.
Policemen noticed the vehicle with tinted glass coming from Ghaziabad at the NH 24 border checkpost.
As police flagged down the vehicle, the driver ramped up the speed. A police PCR van pursued the vehicle and stopped it near Prince Apartments in IP Exptension.
Two persons have been detained in this connection.
