New Delhi: Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia alongwith chief minister Arvind Kejriwal today launched the education minister's helpline (number 27352525) to go into all complaints relating to recognised private schools, particularly problems of parents in getting their wards admitted to nursery classes.

Kejriwal was the first to dial the helpline number, but the number showed a busy tone several times.

Sisodia has warned all privately run schools of strict action if found accepting donation for admitting children to nursery classes.

All private schools in Delhi, shall display boards outside showing the names of wards admitted to nursery classes.

If any parent has any complaint relating to nursery admission, he/she can lodge a complaint with the Education Officer, and if he/she is unsatisfied with the response, he/she can ring up the Education Minister on the given helpline number.

Sisodia promised that he would take note of complaints received every day on the helpline phone number.

"I will personally ring up at least 10 complainants every day to check whether his/her grievance has been redressed or not", said Sisodia.

Sisodia also launched a website application www.edudel.nic.in  for taking complaints.
