New Delhi: The windscreen of a car in which Delhi's AAP minister Rakhi Birla was travelling on Sunday evening, was broken by some miscreants while she was meeting people from inside the car.
'We don't know whether it was a stone or what. The car was moving slowly and as I opened the window to greet people, something hit the windscreen of the car which belongs to my brother", said Rakhi Birla.
"It was my brother's car. I don't own a car. People present there could not say what hit the windscreen", said the Minister.
Eyewitnesses said, a big stone was thrown by miscreants while she was travelling from Mongolpuri to Rohini in northwest Delhi.
The windowpane broke to pieces and police was rushed to the spot.
Rakhi Birla is the Women and Child Welfare Minister in Delhi government. She has been elected on AAP ticket from Mongolpuri defeating Congress stalwart and former minister Raj Kumar Chauhan.
