Delhi Metro announces revised train timings for Monday's 'Run for Unity' | Check details

'Run for Unity' is held to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31, also known as the National Unity Day or the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Saturday announced that rail services will begin at 4 am on October 31 (Monday) to facilitate people participating in the 'Run for Unity'. 

In an official statement, DMRC said, "To facilitate the participants for 'Run for Unity' on October 31 (Monday), the Delhi Metro train services will start from 04:00 AM from terminal stations of all lines. The trains will run with a frequency of 30 minutes on all the lines till 06:00 AM."

Some DMRC officials said that metro trains will run as per the normal timetable throughout the day after 6 am. 

'Run for Unity' is held to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31 — also known as the National Unity Day or the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

Earlier, the Delhi Metro had made minor changes in its last train timings to facilitate the spectators during the third ODI match between India and South Africa on October 11, 2022 (Tuesday) at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ferozshah Kotla Ground in New Delhi.

The change in the timings has been made for the last metro service leaving from New Bus Adda, Rithala, Samaypur Badli, HUDA City Centre, Noida Electronic City, Vaishali, Dwarka, Dwarka Sec 21, Kirti Nagar, Inderlok, Kashmere Gate, Raja Nahar Singh, Majlis Park, Shiv Vihar, Janakpuri, Botanical Garden, Dwarka, Dhansa Bus stand.
