The lawyers and judges of the Delhi High Court today bid farewell to its Acting Chief Justice Arjan K Sikri.  Justice Sikri is likely to take oath as Punjab and Haryana High court's chief justice on Sunday evening.

Justice D Murugesan of the Madras High Court is likely to be sworn in as Delhi High Court's chief justice on September 26.

At a farewell function organised by lawyers and judges, Justice Sikri read out a prayer meant for judges. He said, "Every judge should memorise and recite it every day.
