New Delhi: Delhi government is considering restructuring of Delhi Development Authority (DDA)

Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, who on Tuesday chaired a review meeting with DDA officials and discussed road-map for restructuring and computerization of the body, said the revamping process will start in November this year and will be completed by September next year.

Jung has asked DDA to finalize restructuring plan in next two weeks.

National Productivity Council has been asked to study restructuring of the DDA which include analyzing its present role and operations, suggesting computerization, multi-tasking, outsourcing and re-skilling existing manpower.

DDA commenced its housing activities in 1967 and has played a crucial role in providing more than a million houses to the people of Delhi.
