New Delhi, Jul 18 : Two unidentified motor-cycle borne robbers looted Rs 1.4 lakh cash from a Chandni Chowk based cloth merchant Dinesh Kurti aka Sonu in Najafgarh in
southwest Delhi on Sunday night. Sonu's driver Sunil Mishra suffered two gun shots, one in his chest and the other in his stomach.
The incident took place at around 8pm when Dinesh was going back home in his Honda City car after doing the day's collections.
"They were passing Sai Baba mandir when two bike-borne assailants who were following them, opened fire at Sunil. He was rushed to Rao Tularam Hospital in Zafarpur.
His condition is critical and he is undergoing treatment. The assailants made off with the bag full of cash. We have registered a case in Najafgarh police station,"
said a police officer.
