Mumbai: 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused David Coleman Headley, who is serving a jail sentence in the US, was presented before a Mumbai court via video conferencing on Thursday.
The sessions' court had earlier reserved its order on Mumbai Police's plea seeking Headley to be made as an accused in the case.
Special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam had filed an application before special judge G.A. Sanap on October 8 pleading that Headley should be tried along with Lashkar operative Abu Jundal.
It is worth a note that Headley has confessed to his role in the 26/11 attacks to the US authorities. A US court convicted him of his role in the terror attacks and sentenced him to 35 years' imprisonment.
He had entered into a plea bargaining agreement with the US government.
The terrorist attacks in Mumbai on November 26, 2008 had killed as many as 166 persons.
