Reacting sharply to the questions raised about Rajasthan Royals' ownership structure by the BCCI, the team's brand ambassador Shilpa Shetty on Tuesday said "custodians of cricket" should not jeopardise the IPL's image with "erroneous comments".
"No room for erroneous comments to be made. Custodians of cricket must not hamper the brand value of this viable sport. RR will support all BCCI and government probe," the Bollywood actress said on her 'Twitter' page.
Shilpa, whose husband Raj Kundra owns a little over 11 per cent stake in the team, insisted that Rajasthan Royals' shareholding was in compliance with all the norms set for IPL bidders. "I have always done things with integrity, so when our credibility was questioned, it hurt. Not anymore because we have done our bit. Truth will prevail," she said.
