New Delhi, June 12: Congress general secretry Janardhan Dwivedi on Sunday welcomed the breaking of nine-day-long fast by yoga guru Swami Ramdev.
Dwivedi told reporters that our party had requested him from the beginning to call off his fast. "We had prayed to God for his long life and good health. It would have been better had Ramdev not sat on fast. I am happy that he has called off his fast."
