"An assembly is a designated place. There is no need to spend money on an open session. Secondly, those who watch the proceedings cannot speak. Then what is the use of holding an open session. You get the live telecast done, so that the public can watch", he said.

Lovely said, the Congress considered the draft Jan Lokpal bill itself as illegal, as it does not carry the sanction of Lt. Governor. "The question of voting is far off. We won't even allow the bill to be introduced in the House, so where is the question of voting?"

Lovely said," if anybody from the government tried to include the bill in the Business List of the assembly, we will bring a no-confidence motion against the Speaker itself".

Asked whether the Congress was up to mischief, Lovely said, "we do not need to do mischief. If we want, we can topple this government in half an hour. Our support was on 18 points. They are deliberating doing this illegal work, so that the Congress is forced to topple their government".
