New Delhi, Sep 16: Security in cyber world, urban centres and along the borders will be discussed threadbare at a two-day conference to be held here from September 20.
Recent incidents of hacking of websites of several government organisations, misuse of Internet and mobile services that led to exodus of northeasterners from Bangalore and other cities will also be discussed.
While Deputy National Security Advisor Vijay Latha Reddy will chair the session on cyber security, Director General of CERT-In Gulshan Rai and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi will deliberate on key security challenges faced by India.
"The conference will brainstorm on various issues and challenges that confront India's internal security. Various security experts from India and abroad will brainstorm how by adoption of intelligent and sophisticated techniques one can stay ahead of the cyber criminals," Security Watch India, the organisers of the conference, said in a release.
