New Delhi: Days after comedian Kiku Sharda was arrested for mimicking him, a complaint against Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was lodged in Haryana for hurting religious sentiments by dressing up as Lord Vishnu in a video.

According to reports, Hindu Student Federation had on Saturday filed a complaint in Zikarpur in Mohali district accusing the self proclaimed godman of insulting Lord Vishnu and hurting religious sentiments of Hindus.

In the video, Gurmeet Ram Rahim can be seen descending from the sky as Lord Vishnu, a gimmick that left federation activists fuming.

"We will not tolerate Gurmeet Ram Rahim insulting our gods and gurus. He first insulted Guru Gobind Singh ji and is now seen as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in one of the videos," an activist of Hindu Student Federation said.
