Let me share another instance :
In this picture we can clearly see a dustbin in place for the people to put the waste inside it but people can be seen leaving their waste items on the table itself. Does this give the confidece that the campaign is going in the right direction?
The fact is that if we really want to make India a clean country then first we have to change our mindset.
Media euphoria is all good but this campaign can't become a success unless and until the hoi-polloi understands the basic essence of cleanliness. It seems we'll have to wait a little more before the message actually trickles down to each and every section of the society. Let everybody try his or her best in convincing people they know about the significance of keeping India clean.
